Sunday Stash July 1 2018 OY VEY

Have been running around like a nut trying to get all I need for my trip to Seattle in July. Somethings I was not able to get. I surrendered. Nothing worst the going shopping during a Holiday weekend!

As for sewing I have been working on my daughters messenger/walker bag. It is dragging on. She has so many request for this bag that it requires me to think and think before I put needle to fabric. I will post a picture once I get it sewn. All the components are ready except the straps. I need a cross body strap as well as mini straps to attach it to the walker. The amount of layers is what is holding me up. Every side has 5-7 layers. I will get there, just have to work out the last hurdle.

Finish the X-Marks the Block quilt and donate it.

  1. Some good things going on, and if you are having fun, that's the important thing. The messenger bag does NOT sound like fun!

  4. I'm with Cheryl...can't wait to see the messenger bag for your daughter. It sounds very interesting. When you take pictures, be sure to catch all the little extras. Those are what makes it extra-special.
